While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

In my experience, entry level CCD's are the ST7 and the 416. Anything with a
smaller chip is really just a toy.

Funny how some people give out completely different advice on the same topics over the space of a few months!
The ST& & 416 are hardly 'entry level' cameras in my opinion. I was considering the 208 at one point but decided to opt for the Starlight Xpress MX5-16. There are many to chose from they all have their good and not so good points and the statement made above is an unfair one to say the least!
