What wrong being a Meade advocate, your buying Meades equipement,
isnt that an advocate ??? just wondering.

I own a lot of Televue eyepiece and never returned one, I have a lot
of Meade eyepieces and never returned one,
conclusion....................I,ve never returned an eyepiece or even
heard of someone returning an eyepiece for repair. Whats to wear out
???? Unless you drop the ocular and break an element than it would cost
about the same to replace the element as a new ocular. This was told to
me by Al Nagler, its not really a benefit but a sales gimmick. I did
have an older TV eyepiece (40mm 2" wide angle) that could use a rubber
eyeguard and Al told me it would cost $35 plus shipping and handling, I
ask if he could send the rubber eye-guard to me and I would replace it
and he said, No!...................my 2 cents.
