While you're here, how about checking out the

That ia the correct operation for focuser, Why I dont know, I expect its =
to do with the database of objects. Mine does exactly the same and I =
did notice that when the focus button is not pressed correctly it =
scrolls through the database objects and if you can acciddently go the =
the object on screen if you fail to press the focus in telescope mode it =
does nothing.

Richard

Subject: [M]: 1206 Electric focuser
I just purchased the 1206 electric focuser (lucky to find one, they =
seem to be in short supply). Generally I am happy with it however there =
seems to be a quirk in the operation. The motor will not operate if the =
controller display is showing the description of an object. I have to =
press mode to have the display telescope and then it works. The =
instruction sheet does not mention this. If this is the correct way it =
works what is the logic behind this?=20
Other than this quirk, it is really a nice accessory.=20
I would like to thank the people who run MAPUG, it is a wonderful =
resource.=20
