While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Thanks to Paul Goelz, I realize I have made a major mistake on part 2 of
dome control. I had been looking at a few hours to the south of my polar
alignment, not thinking of the east and west, and the effect of DEC.
Although I still think my idea will work, but with 2 changes.
1. Shorten up the FOV time and motor on time, about 1/2 of what I
mentioned, but this is a variable do to different shutter openings Vs
scope size.
2. Add a delay counter, that one would have to turn on when at the east
or west of your latitude center point. its one more step, but still
gives more time to do other things.
Sorry for the royal mess up, I should realize that with my disabilities,
and no longer working in the fields, that I should not have made such a
post without consulting some one first to jog my memory. please forgive
me all. 73's Mike
