While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

As a drudgery saving measure, I would like to leave my levelled tripod and
(soon to receive) wedge permanently outside on a raised concrete platform I
had built on my upstairs balcony. I would then detach the OTA after each
observing session and bring it inside (not being game to leave it outside
exposed). Would the desert storm cover adequately cover the tripod and
wedge from top to bottom and protect it adequately from the elements?
Although I live in a monsoon region, we are coming into the dry season so
rain is not a problem for now but the heat can get pretty intense.

TIA, Alan
