While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Ed,
I was considering getting a Meade Color Wheel and f/3.3 focal reducer
and am somewhat confused as well. I have the NGF-S and this screws onto the
SCT with what I thought was the SCT adapter. If the f/3.3 is of a similar
design to the f/6.3, how is this attached to the NGF-S on the camera side. I
must be missing something.
Also, I had spoken to a Meade rep the other day and he said the f/3.3
would work with a Meade color wheel. I don't think the two are of much
different sizes. It seems now it may not. Does anyone have any practical
experience with the Meade product line on this one? I would prefer to go
with the color wheel for it's remote simplicity and use of 4 filters.
If not I may need to go with Optec's filter slider, (as I am using the Optec
f/3.3).
Which only has 3 filters per slider and a more difficult remote operation,
especially with the Pictor series. So the quandary.
