While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Joe,

I purchased the Radio Shack 5amp 12vdc power supply and I don't seem to have
that problem. I plug my dew strip (Orion dew zapper) , 201xt, and power the
telescope with no problem. I have an LX50. With those units alone, that draws
near 3 amps. You might want to consider alittle more power supply.
