While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I am trying to set up remote serial (75') telescope and CCD camera control
so that I may operate from the comfort of my office at home. My question
is, are there programs out there that will optimize this operation. I
currently am running Meades 2000SK software to control the telescope. I am
thinking of running the Pictor software to control the camera. Are there
any problems with this (I seem to remember a Mapug communication that
mentioned loosing sync on one while using the other)? Is there a better
combination of programs to control the telescope and camera?

Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Clear Skies.

Mike
