While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

For several of the most amazing images taken by an amateur have a look at
those of Jupiter and its moons taken by Maurizio Di Sciullo using a 250mm
Newtonian and HX-516 CCD by Stalight Xpress. I'm depressed and inspired.
