While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi Everyone...

I have been out with the flu for about two weeks now. While I was sick, a
friend of mine gave me a software package that checks for Y2K compliance. I
ran it on the computer that runs my pictor software for my 416XT. Test said
the computer would not automatically roll over to 1/1/2000 BUT... date
could be manually set. Leap years tested fine beyond 2000. Then it went on
to say:

DO NOT RELY ON THIS COMPUTER TO RUN DATE SENSITIVE PROGRAMS

My question now is how DATE SENSITIVE is Pictor 6.5?

I do use it to center objects, and GOTO objects while the 416 is on the
telescope.
