While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

It had to happen sooner or later...

UPS managed to *break* my Meade giant field tripod the last time I shipped
it. Not an easy task, considering that it was well packed. While I am trying
to get my $$ from UPS, I thought I see if anyone had any recommendations.

I have a 10 inch LX200 on a Milburn wedge. I do a bit of astrophotography,
so I need something stable. Should I just get another Meade tripod?
