While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I just got back last night from just west of there, some light scattered
clouds, but should be even better as the moon go away, in about a week.
High pressure is keeping the storm front north and west. Santa Cruz area
just west of Fremont Peak was daytime 72F and night, by the sea, was
61F, very unusual. Go to intellicast of the web and check these area, as
high pollutants are also there, you might also check area in the mid
foot hill east of there in Amador or Calavaras Counties. I'm in amador,
no pollutants, excellent sky except for moon! Good luck, I don't think
you'll have to travel that far south, plus I noticed on NEXRAD radar,
some stuff coming up from the south into the desert area's. Mike
