While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Many thanks to everyone who responded to my question about Guidestar.

I have read about this on the archives but would appreciate a further
comment. I have a 10 inch f10 LX200. I have just bought the Lumicon GEG a
Canon 40mm XL eyepiece and a Televue diagonal. I can't use the GEG for
guiding just yet as the camera adapter/flange was missing. I was a bit
surprised when I attached the eyepiece in question to the GEG to see so
much distortion (various flavours) at the edge (well into the middle
actually) of the FOV. Am I pushing this too far? I also noticed the shadow
of the secondary coming into view on bright objects. The secondary sometimes
come into view on the moon with the 14mm Canon XL and the supplied Meade
diagonal attached directly to the scope.
