While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hello All,

I have heard of a small device (possibly sold in the UK) that when plugged into
the CCD guider port on an LX200, allows the scope to be left powered up for long
periods of time while not losing sync. It prevents the drive from tracking
somehow.

Has anyone used one of these devices? What are the pro's and con's, if any?
Lastly, are they available in the USA?
