While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Just got the basic ETX Astro as a very cool Christmas gift - with the intent
of using it as a guidescope on my LX200 - and was a bit disappointed when the
focusing knob fell off and the shaft slipped back into the OTA....

Ive looked at this for a while and think the best alternative is to return
and replace the scope - but does anyone have experience with this? It looks
like it would be necessary to open the OTA and remove the secondary as welll
as primary to put this back together and Im concnerned about getting it all
back together - aligned properly and unscratched....

Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to all!

Kevin
