Hi Doug,
The effectiveness of high power eyepieces depends on the seeing conditions
in your area. I have a 10" LX200 and view from a severely light polluted
area...about 12 miles from NYC. A 9mm Nagler provides a very nice image but
the atmosphere will not support this power (about 280x) on most evenings. A
12mm Nagler, on the other hand, gets far more use. Suggest that you try
either the 9 or 12mm Nagler...either one offers a fantastic image.
