While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

That's several people now singing the praises of the 32mm and 40mm Konig
EPs. I'm looking for something in the 32mm - 40mm range to replace
the Meade 40mm Super Plossl that I don't like. I was considering the
35mm Panoptic, but now I'm leaning towards the 40mm Konig for under $200.
Would others concur?

That's interesting about the 12mm Type 4 Nagler. I need an EP to fill
the void in the mid-teens, something I could use for planetary observing
under "typical" conditions and for higher-mag deep space stuff. I'm
still struggling with this one. Been thinking most recently about
the 14mm Radian but haven't heard too much about it, compared with
other EPs in the same range.

For me, on the best nights, I pull out the 8mm Radian. It's a great
EP when the conditions are good.

I have the 22mm Type 4 Nagler, and I bet it would be awesome in the 16"!
It's pretty impressive in my 10" scope.

So I guess I'm wondering what people recommend in the 14-17mm range for
this sort of thing...
