While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

New Member and Telescope Owner,

I live in Enumclaw, Wa. and just purchased my first telescope. It's a Meade
10"
Starfinder Equatorial Telescope setup for Astrophotography. I purchased it
off of ebay as a complete package. It comes with 6 eyepieces, many filters,
camara, lenses, DC drives, mounts and the Megellon II Computer System. It
has been upgraded to a new 10 mm Spotting scope.

I plan to build an observatory attached to my shop in my yard to house it
within the next year.

Can anybody give me any advice or comments reguarding this scope and ideas on
how to start out?

Living up in the Great N.W., do I need to keep the telescope at a constant
tempature or heat it to keep condensation from forming? What is best to use?

Thanks,

John O'Flaherty
