Take a look at the "Stewart Sled" design - you can find it in the archives
and a modified version on my web site....
I think these are superior to the wheely bar approaches (had been through two
different home made designs before the sled) because the pneumatic tires make
navigating bumps a breeze and the stability is tripod perfect.
