Going to several different Star Parties that are remote I have found that
99% use battery power without Inverters to power any scope and most use a
12 to 18vdc converter on the LX-200. I use a home made converter (dc to
dc) and a adjustable pot. and trim the voltage to 16vdc under
load............ric
