I don't think anyone is making that mistake, at least, I'm not. I have
collimated ten different LX-200's and all are different, mine being the
most troublesome. I can collimate quite well using the star method in the
Meade manual and after using the Kendrick's Kollimator the collimation is
off in the Star test. Maybe it is because I am using the close focus
that Kendrick says in the instructions ( I would prefere to use infinite
where the scope mirror is generally close too ) maybe using your idea of
150 feet would help. To bad you couldn't project the "Meatball" on a
star ;-))
