While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi,
My first post to the group although I've been lurking for about a month.
After getting my 8" Starfinder EQ collimated I went to a semi-dark spot
here in Austin, TX. The night was the best I've seen since I've started
observing ( OK it's only been 3 weeks !! ). I found many objects and stars
that had eluded me on previous nights. ( Orion was stunning with my new
Skyglow filter and the 9.7mm ) When I got home I wanted to record some notes
in Skymap 6. I was filling out the database of equipment and such when I
came across the Long. & Lat. settings. I know that the Austin area is about
30' 18" x 97' 42" ( or so.. my memory might be fooling me ) but was wanting
to get a little more precise. Does anyone know of a website that can figure
it a little closer ?
Thanks!

James
