While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I've been using VNC for some time to access my lap top from my primary PC. The lap
top is in turn used to control my LX200. The comment concerning the need to use
identical resolutions is a valid one. When I use this combination I have to
reduce the resolution on my desktop to match the laptop. If this is not done the
transfer rate is quite poor, even though the network is 100baseTX and I can get
very fast file transfers between the machines under normal circumstances.
