Thank you to Frank Santore for his words of encouragement, and to Bill
Arnett for his pin out diagrams...

I made my own RJ12 to Macintosh serial cable this afternoon, thanks to
their help! All checks out with the multimeter, and Pictor View
software running with Virtual PC is now able to connect to the Pictor 216XT...
