Hi Cliff,
Im one of the victims who was "stung" by the love bug. Computers are not
one of my strong areas of expertise but here is the action I took. I would
like you to tell me if I did the right thing and if there is anything more
that I can do. Thanks for your help.
I first identified the bug file as...MSKernel32.vbs I then searched my
computer for this file and deleted it...it came up twice. I then deleted
all of my pictures (hundreds of them) which were all infected. Next I
updated Norton and scanned my computer with it. Have I missed anything?

Doug, some things can be fixed and some cant. I have a list of things you
can do to correct the problem but on some things you just have to delete and
hope you have a backup. Some of the damaged files fall into the .jpg and
.jpeg file types which can hurt some astronomy stuff. If you havent already
goten a fix let me know by private E-Mail and I will send you what I have.
