Hi All,
I wish to continue to use my 1.25" flip mirror with a 3.3 focal reducer, however, I believe that because of the close image convergance behind the FR this may not be possible?
I thought about having an adaptor made up to place the FR the other side of the flip mirror so that I can connect it straight to the CCD camera and using an extension tube for the guiding eyepiece on the flip mirror, to add to the issue, I will be purchasing a JMI NGF-s in September when I am in the States.
As far as the adaptor goes, can anyone tell me what the thread and pitch size is on the standard rear visual backplate of a 10" LX200?
I would gladly accept any advice from anyone using a similar set up for imaging, the CCD camera that I am using is a Starlight Xpress MX516.
Many thnaks in advance,
Andy.
