Jim,
I think this all makes sense to me but being kind of new to this astro stuff,
I am curious, have you had a chance to image with your scope and reworked
wedge? I am wondering if the new "squareness" has helped with
guiding/tracking/pointing accuracy. Seems it should. If what you say is
correct then an autoguider, in use, would be doing double duty compensating
for poor alignment and out of kilter scope/mount parts. Does that sound
right? Doc or others does that make sense?
Oh, and if I ship my wedge off to you, could you "dewarp" it for me? My
machinist Father In Law still frowns when I mention new mod ideas.
