Dave,
I often use mine is on a 8" LX200. Definitely a "must" upgrade, the
difference is very noticeable.
If you are going to use a 2" EP also, then you may want to look into a
balancing system for the scope - the Everbrite+2" EP is rather heavy. If
you use a heavier dew shield or heater then this may not be needed.
