If you have the money, the 31mm Nagler Type 5 is the ultimate
eyepiece. It gives about the same actual field of view as the 35mm
Pan, but with a larger apparent field of view and more magnification.
It also does not suffer from the pincushion "rolling" affect when
panning across a star field. I use it on both my 10" LX-200 and Tele
Vue Genesis-sdf, with an AstroPhysics MaxBright diagonal. But where
it really shows its stuff is in a friends 18" Obsession. The views
through that combo are magnificent!
