Just to add my $0.02 to the discussion: yes, a 2 inch diagonal will work =
very nicely on any size LX200; Im using one on my 8 inch. The one =
additional item you will need is the two inch adapter for the visual =
back. The adapter screws on to the back of the scope and has a two-inch =
bore hole (with thumb set-screws) that accepts the 2 inch accessories. =
Lumicon and Astro-Physics sell adapters (as well as 2 inch diagonals).
