Leveling of the wedge to .001" is not important to the LX-200. Set the
wedge off set by one inch and you will find pointing to be still
excellent because pointing accuracy is not dependent on level. It is
helpful for a CCD guider but I wont go into that. You do need to have
the wedge to tripod fit to be flat because a wobble at this point can
change pointing dependant on the amount of wobble. If your anal about
leveling use a small torpedo level to level with and when your satified
pry out the wedge bubble level bullseye and reglue it into place with
5-min. expoxy paste at the exact centering of the bubble bullseye. This
will now be center next time you setup the wedge/tripod.
