Because my laptop doesnt have Card Bus Im using the serial connection. Everything is running at 115 K and indicates that on the program status line. During image transfer both MaxIm DL and Pictor View 6.45 transfer the image in about 15 seconds but Pictor View 7.10 takes about 5 minutes and the Pictor control box indicates the transfer takes place at 9600. This is the Demo version of MaxIm DL or I would use it exclusively but that is waiting a up coming pay check .
Any idea why the Pictor View 7.10 would have the slow transfer rate compared with the other two programs. It is set to 115 K in the preferences and the status lines indicates connected at 115 K.
