Hi Cliff,
Try focusing on the mag 3.5 star with the Hartman mask on. If you can get
it down to one star your focus should be close. Then move to the oject you
wish to image and fine tune the focus, with the Hartman mask if necessary.
Do you have an NGF-s or are you using the LX200 focuser?
