While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I have seen ads for an accu-focus device , which is claimed to be useful for
sct collimation. It fits over the front of telescope and has three holes to
allow light to enter scope and another hole in the center that allows access
to screws on secondary. When star is out of focus three images appear in
eyepiece, and when scope is focused so that the three images merge into one,
it is properly collimated. Has anyone tried this, and does the idea make
sense?
