While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi,

I've been trying to take some astrophotos of the moon and sun through a 35
mm camera. Does anyone knows how to focus the image of the sun without
using the finder in the camera?
I tried a foccault focus of a star and then took a photo of the Moon but
this doesn't seems to be sharp? Is this because the Moon is so close ?

Any help appreciated,

Maarten
