While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book
List ? |
Hi all,
After observing the 201 for a few nights, I believe it was the ambient air
temperature that caused spazzed out readings. Well after midnight as the
temp. drops, the readings got stronger and more consistent. Being un-cooled,
the 201 has a hard time separating signal from noise. The higher the temp.
the worse the problem. Once it gets down to 60 degrees or so, the 201
functions much better.
Has anyone else noticed this or is it just my instrument?
Clear, dark and cool skies
Alan
