When I got my Meade 10" about 2 months ago it waqs recommended to me to do a
burn in time because Meade is so eager to ship them they sometimes do not
get the proper burn in time.

Meade shipped my 12" LX200 last Friday so I am expecting it this week.
I have been planning to do something I do with new computers when I get
them -
turn it on and give a solid 72 hour workout. A hardware friend long ago
suggested this. No significant electrical/electronic failures have happened
over an iteration of 5 PCs (including one laptop), except the old Dell 386
which had a power supply failure within 24 hours. I think it is good from a
"warranty" standpoint to stress test these things early.
I have some questions:
1) Is there anything I should do before I do this?
2) Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this?
3) Any other thoughts on the matter?
Thanks in advance,
Leroy "LX205" Guatney
(that's 10" LX5 + 12" LX200)
