While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi Andy -

You basically were super underexposed using 200 asa film. You didn't
mention what you were shooting, but at that speed you'll likely need a
minimum of 15 minutes on stars. If, on the other hand, you were
shooting the moon, something should have come out on film. I'll let the
others jump in to recommend films and exposure timing, but you would do
well to surf the web where you will find a plethora of recommendations
to start off with.
