Here is another suggestion for a hard case. We got an Igloo cooler at
Wal-Mart. It has a fabric exterior with a hard plastic shell inside. An ETX
90 fits in it perfectly. I doesn't rattle around and the included tray
(typical of most coolers) makes a great storage place for the hand
controller, batteries, extra eyepieces, etc. Best of all, the whole thing
cost $18.00!

Thanks for all the great ideas concerning a suitable case for the
ETX-90EC. I'll be looking around some of the local stores here in
Melbourne for a make-do case like the Doskocil; failing this I'll order
one in from the USA or pick one up on the next business trip out this
way (it's a long way over the ocean!).

Some of the mentioned web sites have been really helpful on other
aspects of the ETX gear as well.
