In our observatory we have a 16"lx200, pictor1616xt
and Guide7 that controls the telescope. the Pictor
control box is not connected to the LX200 panel
because the RS232 socket is connected to the PC COM
port.
my question is : is it possible to connect the wire
from the PC to the RS232 connector on the Pictor
control box,and then connect a wire cabel from the
LX200 socket to the RS232 port on the telescope's
pannel?is there any chance it might cause any damage?
any help will be appriciated
p.s Id like to thank all those who help with the 201xt
problem.
