Don't know anything about the cost or the procedure in Europe, but here in
the USA the cost is $200. Meade gives you a list of items to remove from
your telescope (including RA & DEC drive units) and mail to them. Meade
will then test and repair/replace any component and mail back to you. Turn
around time is about 30 days and cost is flat rate of $200.
