The environment that a PC sits in can have quite a wide range of
temperature and humidity. Unlike mainframes, for example, PCs were
engineered in anticipation that they could be placed in different kinds
of environments -- not all offices have air conditioning. Check your
manual. Mine says:
Air temperature
-system on: 10C - 32C (50F - 90F)
-system off: 10C - 43C (50F - 110F)
Humidity
system on: 8% - 80%
system off: 8% - 80%
I would venture to guess that all PCs (having similar components) have
the same operating/storage environmental requirements.
