While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

All I know for sure is that visually it is exactly the same as the 8" LX200,
or the now defunct 8" LX50. Electronically, the jury is still deliberating!
GOTO capabilities seem to be somewhere between the Magellan II and the
standard LX200 controller. Accuracy/reliability .... who knows? In
situations like this, I tend to stand back and let others be the "guinea
pigs." I'd watch the message boards and see what shows up.
