While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I'm considering moving up from a 218XT to a 416. What type of SCSI cable is
required to connect to the 416? Any recommendations as to the adapter? I
will be using it both with a desktop (Adaptec 2490U2W) and a notebook. I
have an old (4 - 5 years old) bustoaster PCMCIA card to use with the
notebook.
