I think you should, we have to many people using this fun scope that one
more might upset the apple cart and cause an atmospheric virus that will
doom all LX-200's as we know them. This cosmic virus will descend
through the corrector plate, ricochet off the primary, break dance into
the secondary and zap off the retina of our eye or eye if your using a
binoview. The first cause of this disaster is the scary thread
about.........................LX-200 failures, in which several folks
will write pro and con until the Chicken Littles come home. Then the
Pagan Fearful Rant will begin like, "RA runaway", dec. backlash and the
one I hate the most is: Open ground loops and cccccold computers. I
think it will be safer to stay indoors at night and forget telescopes and
astronomy. Hopefully, I won't get hit by a bolide, again.
