There's a very well illustrated procedure for mechanically aligning your
scope to improve pointing accuracy in the Mapug Topical Archive
available from the list's homepage at: <http://www.MAPUG.com/>.
Once you're at the Topical Archive, scroll down near the bottom left
column to LX200 Alignment Procedure... or to go direct:

Plus there is a great deal of other information in the Topical Archive
to explore on alignment concerns.
