While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I presume that it does the right thing for the objects in its internal
database and for the planets. But if in the year 2020 I enter a RA/Dec
value directly should it be entered in J2000 and expect it to be precessed
or should I enter it as an RA/Dec of the current date ("J2020" in this
example)?

I hope that by the time this is a practical problem, Meade will have long
since replaced the LX200 with something MUCH fancier :-)
