Astroviking makes the statement that the AO7 isn't an autoguider and that is quite true BUT it cant tell the difference between the star your guiding on moving because of the mount error or the atmosphere. As long. as the guide star doesn't leave the area it is working in it will make the correction via mirror movement rather than mount movement. The result is the same. The guide chip it uses for reference can also control actual guiding at the same time.
