OK, maybe a little more explanation of my exclamation:
Why would you want to put gas & water in the same pipe? Operational power
doesnt belong near circuitry power. Sure, it saves an extra cable being run
from the device to a power supply somewhere... but this is easily remedied.
A mis-wired plug (from the factory or hand-made), and bang! - there goes your
main board.
