While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Roy,
I bought the Apogee Crayford focusser half a year ago and have been using it
exclusively ever since. Focussing is very smooth and can be adjusted for the
load. The securing of the attachments is achieved by means of a copper ring
which prevents the diagonal or camera from getting chewed to pieces by
securing screws. I also have a JMI focusser but I find it does not take as
high a load as the Apogee without flexure. For CCD work I prefer manual
focussing to an electric unit. I use the JMI counter on the focussing knob to
get coarse focus and then the Apogee for fine tuning.
